Almost Every Human Being On the face of the earth desire to be at the next level or the other. Human wants and needs are insatiable. While people are satisfied at a particular level; some are questing for some more. This level varies from one person to the other. It could be more money, fame, career, class, or status, polities, more children, joy, peace, love, and so on.
Things don’t just happen; even though some school of thoughts is of the believe that what will happen will happen, that you don’t have to do anything. Whereas some other school of thought believe that some things if not all are guided by principles. Now let’s look at some:
1. THE WITHIN: I call this first guiding principle the ‘within’ because God has deposited so much in man. These deposits are inherent traits or being dwelling in your inside that prompts you to take a step. A burning sensation in the inside for new grounds for the next conquest. These could be talent, desire, burden; it could be emptiness longing to be filled with some things more glorious. Hear what the scriptures said;
Oh that I might have my request; and that God would grant me the thing that I long for. Job 6:8
…but the desire of the righteous shall be granted. Prov. 10:24b. Jabez desired a change for the next level and he got it. The Bible says “…And God granted him that which he requested for.” 1 Chro. 4:10. The abilities within you are capable of propelling you for the next level of encounter. Apostle Paul told Timothy “….that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by putting on of my hands” 2Tim. 1:6
2. TAKE A BOLD STEP. Most people are afraid of the unknown and as a result they become complacent and satisfied with the status quo. Beloved, to be in one position for too long is more dangerous than moving forward.
And the Lord God spake unto us in Horeb, saying; ye have dwelt long enough in this mount. Deut. 1:6.
Are you not tired of being at a spot all day long? Week-in-week-out? year-in-year-out? Why becoming too comfortable at a particular point when God has so much in stock for you. It has not been revealed to anybody. 1 Cor. 2:9. You need to discover God’s plan and purposes for your life. Jer. 29:11. The Prodigal son said “…I will arise and go to my father”. Luke 15:18. Arise, shine; for the light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. Isaiah 60:1. Stop lamenting over failures, challenges and disabilities. Rise for and to a greater glory. Stop romancing your successes, gun for more; more medals, laurels, more heights, more horizon; the conquest is yours. Paul said that I may know him…. Phil.3:10 and verse 12, Not as though I had already attained …..
3. WHAT CAN YOU SEE- To aspire for the next level is in the ability of what you can see. What you see is the power and the motivating force behind reaching the next goal in life. Someone said “Success is not a destination, it is a journey”. “The future you picture is the future you feature” “For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever Gen. 13:15”. The opportunity you don’t see you cannot take it. The door you don’t see you can’t enter through. God said see. I know thy works behold I have set before thee an open door and no man can shot it. …Rev. 3:8.
