Harvest 2017 has come and gone, we give God all the glory! It is in the present continuous tense Our Harvest of Supernatural Overflow’. But were you part of the Harvest, or just an onlooker? Did you participate? Was your family well represented?
When Nehemiah was building the Wall, in Nehemiah 7: 5, listen to what he said, “Then my God put it into my heart to gather the nobles, rulers, and the people, that they might be registered by genealogy”. He then went ahead to name all those who contributed to the building for in wall in kinds, cash and labour. Hear him in verse 70…And some of the heads of the fathers’ houses gave to the work. The governor gave to the treasury….
Were you registered at the Harvest? Was your family registered? Did you respond to the call? Your quota, or pledge? If you didn’t, it will be a good idea to have your name registered. Be a builder of God’s house, it’s a rear privilege.
King David, a man described as being ‘after God’s heart’, desired so much to build for the Lord, a temple, but the Lord refused him. So it’s a big honour and privilege to build for the Lord, and there is no better time, than now.
God presses an emphasis when it comes to building His house, and whenever you give to the work of God you must never be discouraged because there is a big blessing that comes with building God a house.
With the church building, we have God’s presence dwelling with us, and we raise a place where people can pray 24/7. On the other hand, if we refuse to build, you will withhold the salvation of many people who would have come to the Lord via your new church.
People will come to seek miracles from God in the house of God! The house of God is going to be a house of restoration, and it will happen through us.
When you build God a house, God is going to respond! The centurion’s servant who Jesus healed was not a Christian but he had built the temple of God and so Jesus responded to his call and by speaking a word God healed the servant to this centurion. The Shekinah glory of God only came down after Solomon had built God a temple.
When you build God a house, you provoke the Visitation of God by force over your life! Solomon provoked the visitation of God through the act of building God a Sanctuary and offering thousands of burnt offerings! If you want God to visit you, please God.
When you build God a house, God will end all your battles Proverbs 16:7. In his reign Solomon never fought any battles because God had silenced the enemies of Solomon through the sacrificial offering Solomon had made when building God, a house.
Make sure you have your family’s name registered in the ACOTA Register, talk to the Harvest Committee Chairman, and get registered. And for all who have continuously made contributions towards Goshen, we speak the blessings of God over you and your loved ones.
