Our Month of Fresh Encounter

Welcome to a new month; the ninth month, the month when conceived ideas are birthed. Welcome to the best month of your life so far.

Our experience of God as a people, and as individuals, should be getting better and better, so let me assure you that God’s best for you this year is yet to come, and will definitely come in Jesus’ name. Remember, Simon Peter was giving up, his time was up, he has resigned to fate, but then the Master showed up, and everything changed. As you encounter afresh the Lord, ‘supernatural overflowing’ blessings will be yours in Jesus name.

Peter gave his boat, what is the Lord demanding from you? For those who are believing God for something more than they have experienced so far, this is your month. In fact, it is Our Month of Fresh Encounter. You will encounter God afresh, but are you willing to let-go your boat?

Whatever your situation, there will be a collision with the divine this month that will put laughter in your mouth in Jesus’ name.

 ·         Isaiah had an encounter with the Lord the year King Uzziah died: everything about him changed. (Isaiah 1:1-8)

 ·         The widow of Nain, who had lost her only son and was on her way to bury him, met Jesus on the way and had an encounter that brought him back to life. (Luke 7:11-15)

 ·         Jacob encountered God and received a blessing, not only for himself, but also for generations yet unborn. (Genesis 32:24-28)

The truth is, one divine encounter will change your life forever. And that is exactly what will happen to you this month in Jesus’ name.

In what aspect of your life do you need a divine encounter? The same God who did it for all these people is still alive. In fact, He is about to step into your situation. The question is: will you allow Him? Will you trust Him enough?

Apostle Paul was one person who benefited immensely from the grace of God. Even when he did not deserve it, by human standard, God reached out to him in a destiny-changing encounter and turned his life around. This month, a great light, which will turn your destiny around, will shine around you when you least expect it in Jesus’ name. Even if you are on the wrong course in life, you will have an encounter that will set you on the right path in Jesus’ name.

As the Bible says, “But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’” (1 Corinthians 2:9)

So let me specially congratulate you.

God bless you, and have a great week and a great month ahead, and may it be your best so far!

 Your Vicar and Friend.

 The Revd. Canon Kiri Wakama.
